I am a firm believer in the saying 'When life gives you lemons, make lemonade'. It's fair to say that everyone has been given a fair amount of lemons recently! Clients have missed out on their much anticipated newborn and family photographs because of the restrictions imposed to flatten the pandemic curve. The last few months have been difficult, but the one thing we have had is the sunshine, and now unlimited access to the great outdoors. It certainly feels like there is a light at the end of the tunnel, with the gradual easing of restrictions and that's certainly something to celebrate!
What better time to update your family photographs! We've been hiding away for months - children have grown, bumps have been created and babies born. Our relaxed, outdoor family mini sessions capture the precious connection and love within your family, which we have all become so much more aware of and thankful for in recent times.
Outdoor photography sessions are scheduled for golden hour - that magical time just before the sunsets. The light is flattering, warm and romantic and well worth keeping the kids up a little later for!
For newborn sessions I will bring some simple props for some semi-posed photographs of your new baby at the start of the session. Use of my studio outfits and wraps is included too. As these sessions are socially distanced, you will pose and hold your baby at all times.
I suggest you bring a blanket for your baby to lie on in the Moses basket and to use as a swaddle if the evening is cooler.
Sibling images are the most precious to any parent. Whatever their ages, I will capture the connection and love between siblings while allowing them the space to be themselves in the great outdoors.
Outdoor newborn and family sessions are available on selected weekdays and some weekends throughout June, July, August and September. Spaces are limited so I recommend advance booking, especially for newborns. All sessions start at 8pm and last around an hour until sunset. The total session fee is £295 including 5 digital images chosen from your online proofing gallery. Upgrades are available to purchase additional images from your gallery as well as prints and products.
