The birth of a baby is such an wonderful and unique time for your family and it deserves to be documented. As one of the UK's leading newborn baby photographers, it has been my honour to photograph hundreds of newborn babies and their families over the past 8 years.
Newborn sessions take place in my comfortable studio in the quiet village of Stratford sub Castle near the Hampshire/ Wiltshire border. It is perfectly situated to serve families in Romsey and the Test Valley area. I offer my clients the highest level of bespoke customer experience, and as a result I am only able to accommodate a limited number of newborn bookings per month. I highly recommend booking by around the time of your 20 week scan to ensure availability for your due date, although I do sometimes have last minute spaces available so if your baby is already here do get in touch just in case.

The ideal timeframe for newborn photography is within the first three weeks of your baby's life, although it is possible to achieve sweet curly images up to around 6 weeks of age. Babies quickly grow and change, so the tiny, wrinkly, newborn phase is much shorter than you might imagine.
Family photographs are so important! That's why I always encourage parents to take part in the session too, even if it is just capturing their hands with their baby. Our newborn sessions include family and sibling images as well as photographs of your baby on their own. The studio is fully stocked with everything you will need for your session from wraps, outfits and props to nappies, coffee and chocolate! It really is a home from home and the perfect place for tired new parents to relax. Leaving home for the first time with your precious newborn can be daunting, so rest assured that your visit to the studio will be relaxing and stress-free. Parents who come to the studio enjoy the chance to sit back, relax and take in all the details of the wonderful little miracle that they have made. Sometimes they even manage to take a nap!
After your session, you will be invited to return to the studio within two weeks (or we can catch up on Zoom) for your viewing and ordering appointment. This is my favourite part of the process because I love to see parent's reactions when they see their beautiful images for the first time. This is also when you will choose your Heirloom Box and image collection. In addition we have a selection of high quality wall art, albums and prints available to order in the studio if you wish.
