Studio Covid 19 Policy

Your safety is always my top priority. As a newborn photographer I already have extensive hygiene measures in place to protect my tiny clients when they come to the studio for their photography session. These include thorough cleaning of all props and fabric between sessions, washing my hands before each session, using hand sanitiser during your session and disinfecting the studio surfaces on a regular basis.

I have completed a full risk assessment to take into consideration the current Covid-19 pandemic and the government guidance on social distancing and hygiene measures to ensure that the studio is a Covid secure environment for you and your baby to safely enjoy your session. The following measures will be carried out in addition to our usual high standards of hygiene and safety.

My additional hygiene and social distancing measures before and during your session will include:

Fogging between sessions with a certified fogging machine to kill virus particles on all surfaced.
Deep clean the studio after each session - hard surfaces and floors will be cleaned with bleach and Delphis disinfectant, soft furnishings will be sterilised with fabric spray and all high touch areas thoroughly disinfected e.g. door handles etc.
Disinfect my camera and other equipment between sessions.
Sanitise the shooting area again prior to your session.
Machine wash all washable fabrics and props between each session. Non-washable items will be quarantined following use.
Make 70% alcohol sanitiser available for clients to use regularly during their session.
Wash my hands immediately before your session and use 70% alcohol sanitiser regularly during your session.
Wear a mask during newborn and maternity sessions and for other sessions on request.
Ensure that the studio is well ventilated. It is fitted with a air conditioning unit and an air purifier.

I ask that you:

Before your session:

Confirm that you are feeling well on the day of your session and have not been in contact with anyone who has Covid-19
Do not bring additional adults or children with you to your session other than those being photographed.
Wash your hands thoroughly before leaving home.

During your session:

Wash your hands and use the sanitiser provided on arrival at the studio.
Wear a mask when you are not being photographed in the studio (mask are not necessary outdoors). Disposable masks are available for your use.
