The children are back at school, the evenings are drawing in and it's time to turn our thoughts to Christmas. I know it's still a little way off, but the Autumn always flies past so fast and before we know it there will be Christmas songs playing everywhere!
Each year I always make time (usually when I'm about to pack everything away) to capture my boys in the studio and make personalised Christmas cards for family and friends. Relatives that we don't see regularly always comment on how lovely it is to receive their card and inevitably are amazed at how much they've grown!
This is our 7th annual Christmas Minis event and I absolutely love seeing all my lovely clients year after year, and capturing their growing families. It's a wonderful Christmas tradition!
We have 3 Christmas Session events to choose from this year - 'Elves' Workshop' Children's Studio Sessions, Timeless Christmas Children/ Family Studio Sessions and Outdoor Christmas Tree Farm Family Sessions. They are all gorgeous! Here's all the details about all three events.

Timeless Christmas Studio Sessions - 15th - 16th October
New for 2022! Our timeless white studio is the perfect backdrop for your family Christmas portraits. Simple and stylish, with a pretty fireplace and sparkling tree, these studio sessions are perfect for capturing the love of your family this Christmas. Cosy up together on the bed, put the finishing touches on the tree and the chance for little ones enjoy some traditional toys.
Timeless studio sessions are suitable for families with babies and young children. Images from our Christmas sessions are perfect to use to make gifts and cards for all family, so sessions are scheduled in October to ensure there is time for you to have everything ready in plenty of time for Christmas.

'Elves' Workshop' Studio Sessions - 18th, 19th & 20th November
Our children's Christmas studio sessions this year bring Santa's elves magical workshop to life! Have you ever wondered what the elves get up to when the big man is away? We'll find out what it's really like to be one of Santa's elves and your little ones can try their hand at building and painting the toys, stacking presents and checking Santa's magic book, as well as getting up to all sorts of elfish mischief along the way! As always we have plenty of interactive fun to ensure we capture real expressions and laughter.
For the full effect, your child can take part dressed as an elf! The studio will supply hats, mittens, socks, collars and skirts in multiple sizes as shown in the sample images. Parents will need to supply a red long-sleeved top and trousers/ leggings to complete the look (links will be supplied to cost effective options). Alternatively, commercial costumes are available to purchase.
If you child would rather not take part as an elf, a wintry or Christmassy outfit or festive pyjamas would work perfectly for their visit to the Elves magic Workshop too!
Elves' Workshop studio sessions are suitable for babies and children from sitting to around 14 years old and we have room for up to 4 siblings at a time. Images from our Christmas sessions are perfect to use to make gifts and cards for all family, so sessions are scheduled in November to ensure there is time for you to have everything ready in plenty of time for Christmas.

Christmas Tree Farm Sessions - 5th - 6th November
Christmas Tree Farm Sessions are back! Did you know that Salisbury Christmas Trees is a beautiful Christmas tree farm right on our doorstep? If you haven't been there to pick your tree before, I highly recommend it! There is something so festive about the rows of beautiful pine trees, especially on a cold and frosty day.
We'll have fun decorating the branches, taking a walk along through the field and hiding among the trees. These sessions are suitable for the whole family, so why not dress up warm and enjoy the festive atmosphere together!
Only one household per session please. Images from our Christmas sessions are perfect to use to make gifts and cards for all family, so sessions are scheduled in November so you to have everything ready in plenty of time for Christmas.
