Cake Smash & Splash for Felicity turning One!

As one of Wiltshire's leading Cake Smash Photographers, it's always a pleasure to welcome new families to the studio. I met little Miss Felicity and her family for the first time when they came to my Salisbury studio for a Cake Smash session in April. Little did I know that they would decide to book a Newborn Session almost immediately and I would see them again only a few weeks later to photograph her newborn baby brother! Sometimes these things are meant to be.

This beautiful family opted for a Mini Family Session at the beginning of their cake smash. It's a lovely chance to update your family photographs and they were especially pleased to capture their first family portraits together since lockdown.

Fun with daddy is a sure way to elicit some smiles, even when little ones are shy at first.

This sweet little one wore a dress from out studio wardrobe and a matching floral headpiece. Doesn't she look adorable!

I adore the theme that Felicity's mummy chose! It's so pretty and delicate, finished off with a beautiful semi naked cake topped with flower.

Mummy and Daddy jumped in to help with the cake smashing part too, when she needed a little encouragement.

She soon got the hang of it however - and was very nifty with the wooden spoon!

Felicity was a little star, and very delicate with her cake. There was even a good chunk of delicious cake for Mummy and Daddy to take home at the end.

Our Cake Smash Sessions end with a bubble bath, which as well as creating some super cute photo opportunities - is also lovely and relaxing for your baby. We splash, sing songs and clean those sticky fingers (and toes!) before it's time to go home.

Felicity is an awesome splasher!

What a little star! It's hard to believe that she became a big sister just a few weeks later.
