Christmas for me is all about traditions. Little things we do every year together as a family, that make our Christmas extra special. Some of these traditions we carry on from our own childhoods and others were started by our own little family. Every year we make gingerbread for the neighbours, find a new decoration for the tree, visit Santa somewhere, collect and glitter fir cones, watch the children's PNP Santa videos - it's always a lovely mixture of the old and the new.
I also make sure I make time to capture my boys in the studio and make personalised Christmas cards from our boys' Christmas photos. Last year one of my oldest clients (she's not old at all, she's just been a client for a long time) commented that Christmas Mini Sessions were now a tradition for her family. Part of the excitement that signals Christmas is just around the corner. I love and feel honoured to be part of their family's special traditions.
Our Christmas Mini Sessions this year are inspired by the tradition of Christmas baking and all the memories it invokes. Floury fingers (and noses!), dough to roll, festive shapes to cut and mixtures to stir - all in the warm, Christmassy setting of Santa's vintage kitchen. Just don't let him eat all the cookies!
Studio Minis are suitable for babies and children from sitting to around 10 years old and we have room for up to 3 siblings at a time. Images from our Christmas sessions are perfect to use to make gifts and cards for all family, so sessions are scheduled early enough in the year for you to have everything ready in plenty of time for Christmas.
