Sweet Baby R came to the studio at just 9 days new with his mummy and daddy. As one of Wiltshire's leading newborn photographers, I meet lots of new parents but I never tire of hearing the story of their pregnancy, birth and their hopes for the future. I love that every family and their story is precious and unique!
This little man has step siblings who weren't able to meet him until weeks after his birthday due to the Covid 19 pandemic travel restrictions. It's lovely that his parents were able to share their special photos with them before they could cuddle him in person.
Baby R was super sweet and sleepy for his session, but it was the smiles that amazed me! We often hope for a smile during a newborn photo shoot but not all babies do. This little man gave us so many sweet smiles which I was able to capture!
I love using white backdrops for newborn sessions. It suits them perfectly!

Green is another of my favourite colours for newborn sessions, especially baby boys. I love the natural tones!
We swapped to a sweet ocean blue backdrop for some tummy time poses. Not forgetting to have a cuddle with one of my tiny bears!
