Christmas Sessions 2021

Each year I always make time (usually when I'm about to pack everything away) to capture my boys in the studio and make personalised Christmas cards for family and friends. Relatives that we don't see regularly always comment on how lovely it is to receive their card and inevitably are amazed at how much they've grown!

This is our 6th annual Christmas Minis event and I absolutely love seeing all my lovely clients year after year, and capturing their growing families. It's a wonderful Christmas tradition!

We have 2 Christmas Session events to choose from this year - Hot Cocoa Children's Mini Studio Sessions and Outdoor Christmas Tree Farm Family Sessions. They are both gorgeous! Here's all the details about both events.

Our studio Christmas Mini Sessions this year are inspired by a favourite festive treat - hot cocoa! I love including food in my Mini Sessions so I've designed this year's Mini Sessions around my favourite chocolatey festive treat! Our twilight set includes a festive Hot Cocoa stand where little ones can enjoy decorating their own mug of 'hot cocoa'* with cream, sprinkles and marshmallows! Then they'll sit around the campfire and enjoy their sweet treats, feel a flutter of snow and even bring home their own Christmas tree in our little red wagon. As always we have plenty of interactive fun to ensure we capture real expressions and laughter.

* Hot cocoa will be toppings only for safety. Faux versions are available for those who would rather not, babies and those with allergies.

Studio Minis are suitable for babies and children from sitting to around 10 years old and we have room for up to 4 siblings at a time. Images from our Christmas sessions are perfect to use to make gifts and cards for all family, so sessions are scheduled in November to ensure there is time for you to have everything ready in plenty of time for Christmas.

Covid Safe Measures:

Your safety is always our top priority. The shooting area will be disinfected using a cold fogging machine between sessions which effectively disinfects all surfaces and fabrics within a few minutes. Any props which have been handled will also be washed/sanitized by hand between sessions. An air purifier will be in use during sessions and the studio will be well ventilated. All clients will be required to complete track and trace information and a Covid Declaration in advance of their session.

Christmas Tree Farm Sessions are back! Did you know that Salisbury Christmas Trees is a beautiful Christmas tree farm right on our doorstep? If you haven't been there to pick your tree before, I highly recommend it! There is something so festive about the rows of beautiful pine trees, especially on a cold and frosty day.

We'll have fun decorating the branches, taking a walk along through the field and hiding among the trees. These sessions are suitable for the whole family, so why not dress up warm and enjoy the festive atmosphere together!

Only one household per session please. Images from our Christmas sessions are perfect to use to make gifts and cards for all family, so sessions are scheduled in November so you to have everything ready in plenty of time for Christmas.
